Mauro Artusio
Many awards and recognitions have been earned by Mauro Artusio throughout his design career including INTERIEUR 1996 and 1997, the PORTA IN PORTA competition, first place in the table sector for the PREMIO MACEF DESIGN, and finally in 2004 he took part in the MULTIPLI DI CIBO Centro Progetti Foodesign Guzzini exhibition.
Originating from Melzo (Milan), Mauro Artusio first approaches the visual arts and then various artistic disciplines thanks to an encounter with some Canadian artists. In 1996, Artusio’s participation in the Biennial INTERIEUR 96 solidified his interest in the world of design. After completing a specialization course at the Domus Academy, he began his career as a freelance designer, immediately gaining important collaborations in the automotive and industrial machinery design sectors.
